1. About this website

This is the website of Black Fish Studio (黑鱼映画). It is maintained by the studio’s members and served over HTTPS throughout.

2. Content

The work shown here was made jointly by studio members, or comes from study, projects with organisations and personal work they took part in. Credits for each work are as stated on its page.

Bios, links and photos on member pages are submitted by the members themselves and shown after an administrator has reviewed them.

3. Copyright notice

Each work page states which of these groups it belongs to:

Original work: created or led by studio members. Work made jointly by members belongs to Black Fish Studio; work made by one member alone belongs to that member. All creators keep the right to be credited, as shown on the work page.

Adapted work: adaptations, remakes, new lyrics or other derivative works based on existing work. Copyright in the original remains with its owners; rights are claimed only in the new material, and adapted work is shown for study, exchange and non-commercial purposes only.

Contributed work: shows, projects and events members took part in personally. Copyright belongs to the producers; it is shown only to describe the member’s role.

Songs, music, third-party material, fonts, names and logos in the works belong to their respective rights holders. Permission was obtained from the people appearing in the works at the time of filming.

Films, music, images and text on this website may not be downloaded, recorded, captured, reproduced, modified or used commercially without written permission from the copyright holder. To share, please use a link to this website.

If you believe content here infringes your copyright, likeness or other rights, email studio@bkfish.cn with proof of ownership and the relevant links. We will review it and remove or correct the content promptly.

4. Privacy and personal data

This website shares one account system with the MistJigsaw portfolio: signing in on either site signs you in on both, with the same watch history.

What we collect: the email address you sign in with; the display name you choose; your watch history; answers you submit in surveys. Studio members also submit the bio, links, share-card settings and photo for their member page.

How it is used: only for sign-in and account features, syncing your records across devices, reviewing and showing member pages, and handling surveys.

Storage: user data is held in a cloud database provided by Supabase, encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, including backups (AES-256). Only the site administrators can access it. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties, except where the law requires.

Email: sign-in codes and the results of member-page reviews are sent to you by email.

Local storage: the site keeps your language and watch history in your browser. If you are not signed in, your watch history stays on this device only and is cleared after 24 hours.

Your rights: you can change your display name at any time in the account window. To access, correct or delete your account and data, email studio@bkfish.cn.

5. Third-party services

Some videos are embedded from Bilibili or YouTube, some music links to NetEase Cloud Music, and video and audio files are stored on Tencent Cloud. Their own privacy policies apply when you use that content.

6. Terms of use

Account: sign in with your email; one email is one account, with no password. Sign-in codes are for you only; please don’t forward them.

Member content: studio members can submit a bio, links, share-card settings and a photo for their member page. Submissions must be truthful and must not infringe anyone’s rights; administrators may edit, return or remove them.

Rules: do not download, record or distribute the works on this website; do not access the site in bulk by automated means, try to reach unpublished content or interfere with how it runs.

Closing your account: you can ask us by email to close your account at any time, and your account and data will be deleted. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes to the service: features may change, pause or stop; important changes will be posted on this page.

7. Disclaimer

The content of this website is for showing work only. We try to keep it accurate but accept no liability for any loss arising from its use. External links are the responsibility of their own websites. Losses caused by faults, security incidents or data breaches at third-party services (including the database, video and music platforms) are the responsibility of those services under their own terms; we will inform affected users promptly and help where we can.

8. Changes and contact

This notice may change as the website is updated; the current version is always on this page. Questions: studio@bkfish.cn.
